How to Get to Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris is east of central Paris at Marne-la-Vallée. The main options are the RER A train, a shuttle coach package, a packaged train or driving.
Your options at a glance
For most visitors staying in Paris, the RER A to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy is the most flexible route. Shuttle and train packages arrange travel for you but fix your timings.
| Option | How it works | Flexibility | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|---|
| RER A | Public train from central Paris to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy | High, travel when you like | Branches split, so check the destination; crowded at peak times |
| Shuttle package | Coach from a Paris meeting point with park admission | Low, fixed departure and return | No hotel pickup; return may be before the evening show |
| Train package | Train travel arranged with admission | Medium | Ticket collection may be required before the visit |
| Car | Drive east from Paris to the resort car parks | High | Traffic, paid parking and the walk to the entrance |
By RER A
The RER A crosses central Paris, with stops such as Charles de Gaulle Étoile, Auber, Châtelet Les Halles, Gare de Lyon and Nation. Board a train for Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, the end of the eastern branch. The station exits next to the resort, a short walk from the park entrances.
- Check the destination on the platform display: not every eastbound train goes to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy.
- Check the current fare and any service disruptions on the RATP website before travelling.
- Journey time depends on where you board. Allow extra time on busy mornings.
Shuttle and train packages
A ticket with shuttle combines admission with a coach from a meeting point in Paris. A ticket with train combines admission with return train travel, and its instructions have required collecting documents in Paris the day before. Read the details of each package before booking.
By car
The resort is signposted from the motorway east of Paris. Parking is paid. Allow time for traffic, parking and the walk from the car park to the security check and entrance.
When you arrive
Everyone passes a security check before entry. Arriving at the station or car park is not the same as being inside the park, so allow time before your first priority attraction.
