Disneyland Park or Disney Adventure World?

The resort has two theme parks next to each other. They have different moods, so the right choice depends on what your group enjoys.

How the two parks compare
Aspect Disneyland Park Disney Adventure World
Theme Classic fairy tales, adventure and the castle at its heart, across five themed lands Stories from Frozen, Marvel and Pixar in themed worlds built around films
Example attractions Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain, the Fantasyland rides around Sleeping Beauty Castle Frozen Ever After in World of Frozen, Marvel Avengers Campus, Ratatouille: The Adventure
Pace Larger, with more ground to cover and a full day of rides, parades and shows More compact, easier to cover in part of a day
Often suits First visits, fans of classic Disney stories, mixed age groups Fans of Frozen, Marvel and Pixar, repeat visitors, the second park on a two park day

Height restrictions apply to some attractions in both parks, and not every ride suits every child. Check attraction requirements before promising a particular ride.

How to book

  1. Choose your option Decide on one or two parks, the number of days and whether you need transport.
  2. Select date and guests Pick your visit date and the number of adults and children in the booking flow.
  3. Review the details Read the inclusions, ticket delivery method and cancellation conditions before paying.

What your ticket includes

An admission ticket gives entry to the park or parks in your chosen option for the number of days you selected. Access depends on the option: a one park ticket does not let you switch to the other park on the same day.

Admission is not the same as Premier Access. With a regular ticket you use the standard queues. Premier Access, dining, parking, photo packages and some special events are separate paid services. Check what you actually need before adding extras.

Premier Access explained

Our planning advice

  • Choose your priority attractions first. We recommend choosing your priority attractions before deciding between one park and two. If they all sit in one park, a second park adds cost without adding much to your day.
  • Compare the total for your whole group. A single "from" price rarely matches your booking. Add every guest, transport and any optional extras, then compare options on that final figure.
  • Allow time for security and walking. Arriving at the station or car park is not the same as being on your first ride. Plan time for security checks, the walk to the entrance and finding your way.
  • Check height restrictions early. Some attractions have minimum heights. Look them up before promising a specific ride to a child, so the day stays positive.
  • Match evening plans with your return. Check your return transport before planning an evening show. This matters most with a shuttle that leaves at a fixed time.
  • Treat Premier Access as a separate choice. A regular admission ticket does not skip queues. Decide on Premier Access only for the few attractions that matter most to you.

Getting to Disneyland Paris

RER A train

Line A of the RER runs from central Paris to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, the station beside the park entrances. Make sure your train is heading to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy, as the line splits.

Shuttle coach

Ticket and shuttle packages leave from a meeting point in Paris and return at a fixed time. Hotel pickup is not included in the package we compare.

Car

The resort is east of Paris with paid parking. Allow time for traffic and the walk from the car park to the entrance.

Disneyland Paris ticket questions

Should I choose one park or two?

Choose one park if your priority attractions are all in the same park or you want a relaxed day. Choose two parks if you have clear priorities in both Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World and accept spending time walking between them. List your top attractions first, then pick the ticket.

Is a multi day ticket worth it?

A multi day ticket suits first visits, families with young children and anyone who wants breaks, repeat rides or both evening and daytime shows. Compare the total for your group against one day options for your dates, because the per day difference depends on the option and the date.

How do tickets work for children?

The official Disneyland Paris site uses a child category for ages 3 to 11 and lists free entry for children under 3. The way children are added and priced can differ by product, so check the guest options in the booking flow for the ticket you choose.

Is transport to Disneyland Paris included?

Standard admission tickets do not include transport. Some packages combine admission with a return shuttle or train from Paris. If you choose admission only, the RER A to Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy is the usual public transport route from central Paris.

Does my ticket include Premier Access?

No. A regular admission ticket gives entry to the park or parks in your option and access to the standard queues. Premier Access is a separate paid option for selected attractions, sold according to its own conditions. Treat it as an extra decision, not part of the ticket.

Can I cancel or change my ticket?

Cancellation and date change rules depend on the specific product and are set by the provider. They are shown on the offer page and in the booking flow before payment. Read them before you book, especially for packages that include transport.

How will I receive my ticket?

Delivery depends on the product. Many tickets are sent by email or shown on a phone, while some packages require collecting documents before your visit. Follow the instructions in your booking confirmation, and check them again a few days before you travel.

How do I check opening hours?

Opening hours differ by park and by date, and evening shows or early entry can change the plan. Check the official Disneyland Paris calendar or app for your exact date shortly before your visit, and again on the day.
