Disneyland Paris: One Park or Two?

The quickest way to decide is to start from your priority attractions. If they are all in one park, one park is enough. If they are split, consider two parks or two days.

A three step method

We recommend choosing your priority attractions before deciding between one park and two. It is the simplest way to avoid paying for access you will not use.

  1. Ask everyone for their top three. Write down each attraction or show and which park it is in. Use the Disneyland Park and Disney Adventure World guides.
  2. Count by park. If nearly everything is in one park, choose a 1 Day 1 Park ticket. If the list is split, continue.
  3. Check your time and energy. With one day and an active group, a 1 Day 2 Parks ticket works. With young children or a long list, a multi day ticket is more comfortable.

Typical scenarios

  • A family day focused on the castle and classic rides: one park, Disneyland Park.
  • Frozen and Marvel fans: one park, Disney Adventure World.
  • Teenagers who want the big rides in both parks: two parks, one day.
  • First visit with young children: two or three days, so nobody has to rush.
  • Day trip from Paris with a fixed return: usually one park, to avoid losing time switching.

What a second park costs you in time

Switching parks means walking back to the entrance, going through entry again and reaching the area you want. Allow for this when you decide. Most two park days work best with a single switch.

Frequently asked questions

Is it worth paying for two parks for one day?

It is worth it when you have specific priorities in both parks and the energy for a long day. If almost everything you want is in one park, a one park ticket is usually the better choice.

Which park is better for a first visit?

For many first visits Disneyland Park is the natural starting point, with the castle and classic rides. If your group mainly loves Frozen, Marvel or Pixar, Disney Adventure World may suit you better.

What if we cannot agree on one park?

That is a strong sign that two parks, or two days, will make the group happier. Compare the 1 Day 2 Parks and multi day options for your date.
